International Collaboration


  • The International Academic Alliance serves as a platform for collaboration between our school and institutions overseas.

  • Our Alliance includes schools and institutions from 23 countries and regions covering the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan and Taiwan.

  • Our cooperation includes lectures and courses by foreign professors, international conferences, joint publication, teaching, and research.

  • Over one hundred graduate students from our campus were involved in joint teaching programs in Canada, Japan, Korea and the Netherlands.

  • HITSZ is committed to international collaboration. We adopt innovative approaches to higher education reform, and we promote regional sustainable growth by providing technical and personnel support to local industries.

  • Students can learn what you need from our resources in the museum,including the long history of culture, not only for industries.

Medical Insurance

Under the law of China, international students whose length of study is over 1 semester in China must purchase insurance in China which should cover “appropriate medical and accidental insurance for the duration of their study”. China Pingan Insurance Company provides comprehensive insurance plans for foreign students studying in China. The insurance plan costs RMB 300 / half year or RMB 600 / year. Students are responsible for their insurance coverage. Students with CSC Full-scholarship enjoy the medical insurance fee waiver.


  • HITSZ purchase “Foreign Students Comprehensive Insurance” for all International students.

  • Short program and exchange program students may purchase insurance in their own country. The insurance shall cover medical and accident insurance during the term students study at HIT Shenzhen. Students shall produce the insurance policy and submit the photocopy of the policy to International Affair Office.

  • We recommend international students to purchase insurance for their family members while in China.

  • We offer three Medical Facilities:Community Health Center, University Town of Shenzhen, Xili People’s Hospital and Beida Hospital.

  • By January 2017, HITSZ and more than 500 companies in shenzhen has carried out substantive cooperation.

  • HITSZ helped enterprises to solve more than 1000 key technical problems, and project funds nearly added to 300 million yuan.

  • With well-known companies such as Microsoft, tencent, schneider, zte to build nearly 30 university-enterprise joint laboratory,

  • Cooperations with nearly 60 companies such as Siemens, Huawei,Han's Laser, Midea for university-enterprise research production base.
